Sooo....Zone V leads you to a stage set in the darkest depths of the ocean, arr. And what could be more fitting than you facing this beauty of the depths at its end? The name is another issue, though.
Catching some tail :b...
Tips: To warm up, Risk Storage tears through some battlecruiser. Not impressing, if you ask me. Like every other boss, his chief weak spot is his open mouth. He lets you look at it to start with by spraying you with the BIG bullets and waving his tail about, this being to ram you. he sweeps across the screen, launching green balls and purple from his tails and missiles in bursts of three from his mouth too. His tail and body can take damage as well, but concentrate on his mouth.
My, what a big...no, why even bother?.
OK. When he's taken enough damage, his belly distends and he spits out these three chunks of destructible junk. Destroy them once and they blow up into smaller pieces. Destroy them again and they blow up into bullet circles! Ouch. He will do this once or twice and nearly back-to-back, so be fast. He then disgorges little silvery balls which stretch out into the usual seeker lasers. But do not stay in line with his mouth, for he spits out these HUGE green balls (above, right). This is done a few times before the behaviour cycles.
When Risk Storage has turned brick-red, he returns to the disgorging of junk. But-this time it's coupled with the huge green balls! After firing a few of these, he launches what looks like a desperation attack. He starts to disgorge the same kind of segments which made up Neon Light Illusion's body once his outer shell is lost which shoot straight lasers up and down. They're easy to deal with, however. Stay in line with the mouth all the time and blow them up. If you're fully powered-up, it should pose no problem. Once this is done, we get more silver balls and this time a few marine worms! Easy to blow up, though. I don't know if Risk Storage throws any more attacks at you after this, because of:
Once Risk Storage goes down, he does leave you with something to remember him by:
My, my. Taito really felt very strongly about the poor sod when they put this one out. And I do hope that the 'last communication' was not 'tell our families we love them' or something like that. It is a horrible way to die, for sure.

Real-Life Inspiration: A gulper eel(Eurypharynx pelecanoides). Mind you, this is the prettier gulper out there. There's one which is ALL mouth and it's called a gulper, period.
