Appears as a boss in:

Sagaia (Megadrive) (1991)

Relatives: Killer Hijia.

Zone X in Sagaia for the Sega MegaDrive brings you an original boss, called Nehonojia. Though one gets a very strong idea that he is a bits-and-pieces boss. Yes, one could even say that he was a left-over thrown in just for the console port

Tips: Nehonojia flies in in bits, and then gets to work. He first fires four three-bullet arcs along the points of the compass (something like Killer Hijia), then throws out a few of his ribs as boomerangs. While one tries to avoid these, he fires a few lasers from his mouth (a classic Fossil attack). After enough damage, he breaks up into his component parts and then repeats his attacks. This goes on till he turns cherry red and then dies!

Name: 74%

Real-Life Inspiration:I have just heard from a Darius fan in Japan (the fist one so far! !) that Nehonojia is Ajinohone spelt backwards, which translates to "I am the Japanese bones of a horse mackerel". Obviously Killer Hijia is more bloody-minded than I thought.
