In a game series like Darius, it was only a matter of time before we were served a shark shark (if you get my meaning) after Iron Hammer. We didn't have to wait long; in Super Darius, we meet this guy.
A green shark? OK, it's your game, Taito...
Tips:Guard Savage is another old-school Darius boss with only weak spot; and of course, it's his mouth. When he opens his mouth, he pauses and then fires a funny beam which looks like a shark's head. When he does it five times (three times in <Super Darius, he also tries to RAM you. Be careful. You can get a hint of when he does it when he moves back a little bit after firing his beam. The beam is powerful enough to knock a Level 1 shield and you out. However, if you stay above him, there's little chance of him ramming you.
After the ram, he normally sends out a few anchor thingies from above and below. The beam is the only thing to worry about. For points, there are always his fins to blow off.
