Crustaceans, while not the most attractive marine life-forms, certainly look totally evil with their spiked armour and wicked claws and stuff. Of course I'm repeating myself (see Neon Light Illusion), and of course you know who used them in which game series. The first crustacean to surface for the Darius games is a lobster:Dual Shears. Would Red Lobster sue?

Dual Shears got cooked by the time he made it to the PC-Engine.

Tips: A few bullets and a straight beam. What more needs to be said. And you can be cramped for space in Super Darius and Darius Plus. You may want to get in close for Darius, too, as too much time means those annoying rotating cubes. If I remember correctly, his claws can be blown off. They make for an interesting attack eventually, but not in this game.

Those flying claws will always make me think of Grandizer.

Darius Twin gave us Dual Shears SP. Wot, the special edition? He pretty much has the same armament, except for one great addition - he can fire his claws at you! I really love that, though it's just a telescopic ramming attack. His armour comes off bit by bit as exploding mines, too. *Sigh* I'm sorry for this lackluster description, it's just been a while, and he's been in stasis for a long time.
