This is a site for artwork and screenshots of streams dedicated to retro arcade, console, and computer games created by its viewers. Content should be limited to screenshots and artwork with at least some connection to a game or character associated with the stream. Artwork from outside the stream's viewership is generally disallowed.
Tags are space-separated. Use underscores for tags with multiple words.
Categorize tags as "artist:", "game:", and "char:" immediately before the name of a tag, e.g.: "artist:annk", "game:shock_troopers", "char:milky"
Use full game names, including subtitles and punctuation. This helps with SEO. Please also make an effort to tag characters' full names, even if they are not used in the games themselves but are published in other official material, such as manuals or arcade flyers.
If a game is part of a series longer than three games and features characters that appear in multiple games including the first game in the series, add the name of the first game too.
When adding characters, add the series name in parentheses to the tag for common names to avoid future conflicts. If the character has a full name not necessarily given in-game, use it instead.
If the MAME Roulette spreadsheet uses multiple names for a single game, tag all of them here.
If you're in doubt as to an image would be a fit for this site, you can try just uploading it anyway. There are no penalties for uploading unrelated images at this time.
Player-created characters that do not have predefined origin stories can be defined. Add a tag starting with "oc:" followed by the name of the character. These characters must be created and played with on stream using only in-game character creation tools and illustrated by viewers.
In the event that the name of an original character collides with another, add the name of its creator in parentheses. It will not be necessary to differentiate pre-existing characters from original characters this way. This category is to be used only for characters created in a video game and used in a significant capacity in that game (player avatars, NPCs, etc.), not characters from other sources that interact with such characters.
